We partner with several well established, reputable Mt Rinjani trekking companies and have many options to choose from. There are private and group share packages, as well as luxury private packages. Choose 2 days and 1 night, 3 days and 2 nights or 4 days and 3 nights. Treks can be arranged according to your level of experience and anticipated pace.

Packages described start with early morning pick up from your Senggigi hotel, however you may choose to spend the evening before your trek in accommodation in Senaru for a small extra cost. We can also arrange airport pickups and accommodation. Pickups can also be arranged from Kuta, Lombok and the Gilis.

Via Sembalun Village

2D/1N Summit Mount Rinjani

Trekking to the summit of Mount Rinjani – 2 days 1 night via Sembalun village. Camp the night at the crater rim with an early start next morning to reach the summit. Return to crater rim and Sembalun village.

3D/2N Summit Rinjani – Lake

Trekking to the summit of Mount Rinjani and the crater lake – 3 days 2 nights via Sembalun village. Camp the night at the crater rim, with an early start next morning to reach the summit. Descend to the crater lake, hot spring and camp the second night at crater rim Senaru. Descend via Senaru village.

4D/3N Summit Rinjani – Lake

Trekking to the summit of Mount Rinjani and the crater lake – 4 days 3 nights via Sembalun village. Trek to crater rim Sembalun, summit, lake, hot spring, crater rim Senaru and down the trek to Senaru village.

2D/1N Crater Rim Senaru

Trekking Mount Rinjani to the crater rim Senaru – 2 days 1 night via Senaru.  Camp the night at the crater rim Senaru, sunrise over the lake and return trek to Senaru village.

Trekking Mount Rinjani to Segara Anak lake – 3 days 2 nights via Senaru village. Camp the night at the crater rim Senaru, lake, hot spring and return to Senaru village.

Trekking Mount Rinjani to crater rim Senaru – 2 days 1 night. Start via Senaru village to the crater rim and the 2nd day return to Senaru village. This program is the most popular trekking package to Mount Rinjani and suitable for beginner trekkers.

2D-1N Summit Rinjani

Trekking Mount Rinjani summit – 2 days 1 night. Start via Sembalun village to Sembalun crater rim and overnight, early morning at 3.00 am start climb to summit and back to crater rim then continue down to Sembalun village. This program the most popular Mt Rinjani summit trekking package and suitable for experienced trekkers.

3D-2N Summit – Lake

Trekking Mount Rinjani to the summit – 3 days 2 nights. Trek to the crater rim, summit and Segara Anak lake. This special group package is designed for those who wish to trek with people from different countries and cultures. Great for those travelling alone.

4D-3N Summit – Lake

ITINERARY

Via Senaru Village

2D/1N Summit Mount Rinjani

Day 1
Pick up from your hotel in Senggigi 5am
Senggigi – Senaru village approximately 2 hours

Meet with your trekking guide and porters who will conduct a briefing and explain the trekking procedure and prepare for your trip. After an early breakfast we depart Senaru and travel by 4WD vehicle to Sembalun. We register at the Rinjani Information Centre in Sembalun (1,156 m) before commencing our trek. The trail initially passes through undulating open grasslands as it winds up the mountain. We stop at Pos 1 and Pos 2, pausing for rest breaks and snacks. At Pos 3 (1,800 m) we stop for a longer break for lunch. After lunch we commence the steep climb up the crater rim. We camp the night at Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m) with amazing views of the sunset, Lake Segara Anak, the summit of Mount Rinjani and Northern Lombok.

Day 2:
We wake at 3am for a light breakfast before commencing the challenging three hour trek to the summit (3,726 m). We arrive in time for sunrise, the best time to enjoy the spectacular views. Returning to our campsite on the crater rim we stop for a hot breakfast and a rest before commencing our return trek to Sembalun. We pause for lunch at Pos 2 or 3 and arrive in Sembalun in the early afternoon, from where you will be transported to your next destination.

The trail is steep and rocky and passes through dense forest. At the Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m) we stop for dinner and camp for the night. The crater rim offers views across the lake back toward the summit and a good vantage point of Gunung Baru, the small volcanic cone within the crater of Mount Rinjani. Mount Agung in Bali and the Gili Islands can also be seen from here

Day 3:
After breakfast we commence our descent of the mountain, utilising the rest spots of Pos 3, Pos 2 and Pos 1 and stopping for a longer break for lunch along the way. As we descend the mountain the forest becomes thicker and increasingly lush. We arrive in Senaru (601 m) at approximately 1 pm, from where you will be transported to your next destination.

At the Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m) we pause for lunch and a rest. The crater rim offers views across the lake back toward the summit and a good vantage point of Gunung Baru, the small volcanic cone within the crater of Mount Rinjani. Mount Agung in Bali and the Gili Islands can also be seen from here. We can camp here for the night, or if the wind is cold and we still feel energetic we can continue down the mountain and spend the night at a more sheltered campsite in the forest.

Day 4:
After breakfast we continue our descent of the mountain, utilising the rest spots of Pos 3, Pos 2 and Pos 1 and stopping for a longer break for lunch along the way. As we descend the mountain the forest becomes thicker and increasingly lush. We arrive in Senaru (601 m) at approximately 1 pm, from where you will be transported to your next destination.

Via Aik Berik Central Lombok

2D/1N Trekking 

Day 1:

Pick up from your hotel in Senggigi 5am
Senggigi to Benang Stokel by private car – approximately 1.5 hours.

Arrive at Benang Stokel, where our team will be waiting for you and ready to start trekking after registration. Start trekking from Benang Stokel travelling through tropical forest and savanna. Two hours from Benang Stokel we will find Post 1 (Monte 800M ) and enjoy the Rinjani tropical forest. After another 1.5 hours we will find Post 2 ( Kayuk Malang 1.400M ) where we break for lunch. After that we will continue to Post 3 (Cemara 1.850 M) about 2 hours of steep trek to find pelawangan batu belah / Crater Rim ( 2.600 M ) where we will have dinner and camp overnight.

Day 2:

07:00 am After breakfast we will start to Segara Anak Lake it needs 1.5 hours then enjoy the panorama and take the moment by camera we will back to crater rim that takes an hour, after that continue to back down to Post 3 break for lunch afterward continue to Benang Setokel village it’s about 4 hours and car waiting and drive you to next destination ( Kuta, Senggigi, Mataram, Bangsal Harbour ) the end of service.
